Student Finances 2019

All students chosen to participate in the festival are awarded a full-tuition scholarship (a $1,200.00 value) thanks to the generous support of our sponsors.

Students are responsible for the cost of travel to and from Pigeon Lake or the Edmonton International Airport, and students pay a subsidized fee for Room and Board for the two-week residency.

Payment Information

Payment accepted by cheque or money order in Canadian dollars (for Canadian residents only). For international residents, numerically identical payments must be made in U.S. dollars. Money order / cheque payable to The Alberta Pianofest Society.

All payments are non-refundable. Payments must be received on time to secure and maintain student’s place as a participant.

Prospective applicants to the May 15th deadline are welcome to contact Alberta Pianofest director, Jason Cutmore, by email at the end of April to check on the availability of any remaining student places before applying. jcutmore@albertapianofest.com

Additional Financial Aid

All prospective Alberta Pianofest students residing in Alberta are eligible to apply to ARMTA for a study grant to defray costs of APF attendance (up to $500). These grants are not restricted to students of ARMTA teachers.
